“In addition to its environmental benefits the judges were impressed with the fact that Ecoplay represents a genuinely innovative solution to the need to reduce water consumption. This is an especially pressing issue in water-stressed areas such as the Middle East and Ecoplay offers a proven and effective fit-and-forget solution that can be incorporated into the design of a building.

“This is just the latest in a growing line of awards that Ecoplay has received recently, such as the 2007 Sustainable Product of the Year Award,” adds Manjit. “The movement towards eco-excellence is growing constantly, and this latest success recognises the fact that Ecoplay is at the forefront of that movement.”

Ecoplay's success highlighted CME's overall presence at the Big 5 exhibition. It also underlined the company's success in the Middle East region where some of its other product lines such as Macdee and Celmac sanitary ware products are already well established.
