ECOPLAY HELPS TO MAKE THE IDEAL ECO HOME
 |
Just four months after its launch onto the British market, the new Ecoplay micro greywater recycling system from CME Sanitary Systems has been showcased at the prestigious Daily Mail Ideal Homes Show at Earl's Court in London. An Ecoplay unit was selected for display in the exhibition's Eco House which showcases innovative products and solutions designed to help minimise the impact which houses make on the environment and its precious resources.
“Ecoplay is a practical and cost-effective system that recycles bath and shower water for re-use in toilet flushing,” explains Jilly Player-Bishop, New Business Development Director of CME Sanitary Systems. “As such it was an obvious candidate for inclusion in the Eco House as it can help cut the volume of fresh water used for toilet flushing by up to 30%.”

In addition to conserving water Ecoplay can create significant savings on water bills for the end-user and also help architects, developers and specifiers add considerable extra environmental value to their projects. “Because Ecoplay offers different benefits for different groups it attracted a lot of attention when the Eco House was opened,” adds Jilly. “This followed on from the recent Sustainable Building Services Awards where Ecoplay was voted the ‘Green Product of the Year, so it underlines the fact that the system is already proving to be very popular,”
